Aethel Help

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about Aethel.

What is Aethel?

Aethel is a crypto terminal: live prices and charts, markets on Solana, Ethereum and BNB Chain, swaps at the best price, a portfolio view, Predictions, Unwrap and Degen.

Does Aethel hold my money?

No. Aethel is non-custodial. Your coins stay in your own wallet, and every transaction is approved by you in your wallet. Aethel never sees your recovery phrase or private key.

Do I need an account?

No sign-up is needed. Connect a wallet to trade, or just browse the markets.

Which wallets work?

Solana wallets such as Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and Aethel Wallet, Ledger devices in supported browsers, and Ethereum wallets such as MetaMask for Ethereum and BNB Chain.

What are the fees?

Solana swaps and limit orders that pay or receive SOL or USDC include a 0.1 % Aethel fee, already counted in the amount you see. Network fees are paid to the network, and Jupiter may charge its own fee on some routes. Ethereum and BNB Chain trades and Unwrap have no Aethel fee. See the Terms for details.

Why did my swap fail?

Common reasons: the price moved, not enough SOL (or ETH / BNB) left for the network fee, or the request was declined in the wallet. Check your balance, try a smaller amount or a little more slippage, and try again.

What is Unwrap?

Unwrap turns wrapped coins back into the real coin, for example wSOL to SOL, WETH to ETH or cbBTC to BTC on the Bitcoin network.

What is Degen?

Degen is high-leverage practice trading on BTC, ETH and SOL. It runs on play money only: no real money is used, held or sent.

Can I trade on Predictions?

Not yet. The 5-minute BTC, ETH and SOL markets are live to watch; trading opens later.

What is Aethel Wallet?

Is anything on Aethel financial advice?

No. Crypto is very volatile. Check everything yourself and never risk more than you can afford to lose.

Someone asked for my recovery phrase. Is that Aethel?

No. Aethel will never ask for your recovery phrase, private key or password. Anyone who does is trying to steal your funds.
